I am John Paulett.

I develop healthcare and open-source software. See the projects page for specific project details. I program primarily in Python and Java, however, I have a love for learning new and old languages.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. At UPenn, I worked on RadLex and researched improving speech recognition.

I have a Masters of Science in Biomedical Informatics from Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt I was part of a team that developed a critical lab alerting system and a sepsis detection system. For my master's thesis, I worked in the privacy & security world of clinical information systems by developing a program that mines clinical information system access logs to find organizational structure.

I am the lead developer at Montage Healthcare Solutions.
